Studio Art Quilt Associates, Inc. (SAQA) defines the art quilt as "a creative visual work that is layered and stitched or that references this form of stitched layered structure."

鈥溾 is the follow-up to SAQA Montana/Idaho鈥檚 2012 inaugural exhibition 鈥淏road Spectrum: Contemporary Quilts of Montana and Idaho.鈥

This year, all members of the Montana/Idaho region were invited to explore the variety of meanings, images and experiences evoked by the theme 鈥淏road Spectrum,鈥 and to submit art quilts that interpreted the theme in their own unique way.

The exhibition proudly represents the SAQA Montana/Idaho region with works by 21 artists, chosen by juror Sarah Justice, Executive Director, Paris Gibson Square Museum of Art, Great Falls, Montana. "Broad Spectrum 2020" and associated programs are coordinated by Red Lodge-based artist, Maggy Rozycki Hiltner, Montana/Idaho Regional Representative of SAQA.
