MSU BILLINGS NEWS—The MSU Billings Jazz Ensemble will be performing at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 11 at Cisel Recital Hall on the ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ campus.

They will be performing pieces by Cole Porter, Duke Ellington, Billy Strayhorn, Oliver Nelson, Count Basie and more.

The concert will also feature renowned Wyoming jazz guitarist, Jeff Troxel. An award-winning musician, Troxel is proficient in a variety of talents including jazz, flatpicking, singing, songwriting, and composition. Among his many achievements and awards, he prides himself on also being an educator. He has taught at USC, University of Laverne, Rocky Mountain College, Central Wyoming College, and is currently teaching at Northwest College in Powell, Wyo.

This event is free for ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ students, faculty and staff with valid ¶¥¼¶¹ú²úÊÓƵ ID. Admission price is $3 for students, $5 for adults.
